Things are opening up in the world of PostgreSQL.

There are four upcoming events of which you should be aware.

Henrietta Dombrovskaya is a world renowned PostgreSQL expert, published author, and the lead organizer of the Chicago PostgreSQL User Group.  If you are a Chicago PUG member, you have probably received promotional emails from her.

She is presenting two webinars courtesy of the Postgres Conference Webinar Series.

Long Queries and the Art of Full Scan is scheduled for September 22 at Noon CDT.

Chicago PUG + PgUS

The United States PostgreSQL Association ( PgUS ) is a nonprofit organization that supports the growth and education of PostgreSQL. PgUS is the sponsor of Chicago PUG . Since we share the same goal, we will work more closely with PgUS  on future initiatives. For starters, we will collaborate with PgUS to update their website ( https://postgresql.us ) with a profile page featuring PostgreSQL User Groups across the nation, including this one. This profile page will include the names, current status (virtual and/or hybrid meetings), meeting schedule (for example, Chicago PUG usually meets once a month on a weekday evening), social media, and contact information of various groups.
